FCSXpert™ Web Resources Launchedback to topNovember 1, 2007

Sensor Technologies LLC launches FCS Web Resources for all users of FCS.

David E. Wolf, Ph.D. of Sensor Technologies LLC announces the launch of the FCSXpert.com web resources. The web resources at www.FCSXpert.com are designed as a centralized place for information and discussion of Fluorescence Correlation Spectroscopy for all users of the technique, regardless of platform. The FCSXpert™ resources includes an FCS Classroom containing tutorials, technical notes, application notes, examples of FCS data, and reference bibliography. FCSXpert™ .com also provides a forum for discussions on all FCS topics.

QuantumXpert™ Spectrometer Releasedback to topOctober 22, 2007

Sensor Technologies LLC introduces the QuantumXpert™ , the world's first three-channel, bench-top FCS spectrometer.

John L. Hayes, CEO of Sensor Technologies LLC, announces the release of the world’s first three-channel, bench-top Fluorescence Correlation Spectrometer. Now researchers can quantify single molecule binding, diffusion and cross-correlation at a fraction of the cost of expensive confocal laser microscopy systems. The patented QuantumXpert™ is a fully integrated FCS instrument that does not require the use of a fluorescence microscope, and this compact (15” x 17” x 5”) system requires no user alignment whatsoever. FCSXpert™ Software, a comprehensive acquisition and analysis package, allows for simultaneous detection in three channels and concurrent measurement of autocorrelation, cross-correlation, and photon counting histogram. The software also provides customized, assay-specific analysis, as well as highly flexible batch acquisition and analysis capabilities. The dual excitation, three-channel detection design enables use of a broad range of common fluorophores. These features make the QuantumXpert™ easy to use and ideal for research in drug discovery, protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions, ligand-receptor binding, enzyme activation, molecular biology, and aggregation of fluorescently labeled molecules.
